GENERAL QUESTIONS

Q. What is the Boot Scootin’ Boogie?
A. The Boot Scootin’ Boogie, also known as “The Boot,” is our single largest fundraiser for Larkspur Elementary School. We raise an average of $30,000 to $50,000 at this event. (Click HERE to learn more about our school & why we love it so much!)

This adult-only evening features a catered dinner, drinks & cocktails, an extravagant dessert bar, a silent auction, a live auction & dancing all held in a uniquely Colorado western setting. The silent auction offers items for everyone, including one-of-a-kind classroom keepsakes. The live auction consists of amazing “baskets” assembled by each class. Some examples of prior live auction items include vacations packages, hunting & fishing excursions, tickets to sporting events, & Colorado adventure packages for the whole family to enjoy!

Q. What does my ticket price include?
A. Admission includes a catered dinner, drinks & cocktails, a one-of-a-kind dessert bar, a silent auction, a live auction, photo booth & dancing, all held in a uniquely Colorado western setting.

Q. Where do I purchase tickets for the Boot Scootin’ Boogie?
A. Ticket sales are OPEN & you must register using our new registration website this year.  You can access it using the Register & Buy your Tickets button on the home page, by clicking the button on the Register & Buy Tickets tab or click HERE on this page.  You must pay with a credit card on our registration website for your tickets, if you wish to donate to cover teacher & staff tickets, to make a general donation or to purchase a reserved table for 10.  Ticket sales close 4/18/18 or when SOLD OUT so don't delay.  Tickets are non-refundable but
transferable so contact LES PTO at larkspurpto@gmail.com with questions or concerns about tickets.

Q. Can I purchase tickets at the door?
A. NO, sorry. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Q. Can anyone attend the Boot Scootin’ Boogie?
A. Yes, but all attendees, however, must be over the age of 21. This event is one of the LES PTO’s main fundraisers & it is open to the community. You do not have to have a child or grandchild at the school. Gather your neighbors & friends & make a special night of it.  Remember, no tickets will be sold at the door so buy your tickets NOW.

Q. Approximately how many people attend & is there a seating plan?
A. Attendance each year varies, but in some years, we've hosted as many as 500 or as few as 200. There is no reserved seating unless you or your company sponsor the event, then a table will be reserved for that sponsor.

If you would like to guarantee that you sit with your friends & family, book a reserved table for only $150 fee (the fee does not include the price of tickets) and look for your name on a table tent reserving your table.  This year, seating is limited to 350 guests so be sure to buy your tickets or pay for your sponsorship early to ensure your spot.

Q. What's new this year?
A. The venue is new this year.  Many thanks to the Wiens Family for hosting the Boot for the past 20 fabulous years!  Many factors caused our change in venue this year.  Please come check out our new venue and tell us what you think!  You can wear your fancy duds to the event, including open-toed shoes and heels, plus the event space is heated and restrooms are located in the venue.  We gave up a few more seats to offer this venue but we hope you'll love it!

Q. How are the proceeds from the night spent?
A. There are ongoing expenses for the school that are paid for with the proceeds from The Boot, as well as from our other yearly fundraiser, the Fall Festival. These include workbooks, consumables for science, maintenance for several classrooms, & special programs & help with field trips. Money is also spent each year on technology, classroom needs, & supporting students & teachers as needs arise.  We also fund three (3) $1,000 college scholarships each year for our LES alumni.  Our full financial details may be viewed on our website.

EVENT DAY QUESTIONS

Q. Where do I park?
A. There is plenty of parking at Spruce Mountain Ranch.  Watch for signs directing you to the Ponderosa Room and park in the lot there.  Handicap parking will be marked.

Q. What is the attire?
A. Attire for the Boot Scootin’ Boogie is semi-formal to casual. Some people wear western-style clothing – jeans, cowboy boots, & cowboy hats! Have fun with whatever you decide to wear!  This year, the venue is heated and the floors are not dirt so you can wear whatever you'd like and know that you'll be warm and not get your shoes dirty.  We also have a coat check area this year to keep your coat safe while you dance the night away.
